This was an extremely competitive tournament that the top ranked debate schools and teams in the world attended. There was over 200 teams at the tournament and two of the Bard teams came close to breaking into the finals rounds.
As novice debaters Lee Gensler and Armaan Alkazi qualified for and competed in the open quarterfinals. Lee Gensler placed 2nd in overall novice speaker points and Armaan Alkazi placed 5th in overall novice speaker points.
