Senior Bard debater, Zach Israel, will be representing Bard College (in spirit) when he competes at the “European Universities Debating Championship 2011” (Euros, for short) this coming week. The tournament will be held at the National University of Ireland (Galway, Ireland) from August 7-12. The Euros tournament is an elite tournament held once a year at which 100 teams (200 students) from Europe, Israel, and Qatar, compete for the title of European Debate Champion. Zach will be one of four students competing for CEU (Central European University, Budapest, Hungary), where he studied abroad during the Spring 2011 semester. Good luck, Zach!
