The Bard Debate Union had a great weekend at our final regional tournament of the year: the Northeast Regional Championships at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, CT. The stars of the show were novice policy debaters, Anna Daniszewski and Max Taylor-Milner, who earned an impressive 5-1 record in preliminary rounds, advancing through octafinals and ending the tournament tied for 5th place! Anna was also named 8th speaker in the novice division! The worlds team had a tough tournament competitively but had a great learning experience and is definitely disappointed to not have more tournaments come up soon! Congrats to Anna and Max, student coach, Michael Luxemburg, and the entire Bard Debate Union!
