Bard College hosted an open public forum with seven local candidates. Each speaker was given approximately ten to fifteen minutes to speak, and then each candidate had approximately five minutes to answer questions.
October 22nd the team hosted its second public debate during parent’s weekend. The motion for this debate was “This House Would Make the use of Drones in Combat a War Crime.” There were approximately sixty people in attendance.
On September 14th the team hosted its first public debate. The motion for this debate was “The US Should Stay in Afghanistan Until a Stable Democracy is reached”.
