The Bard policy debate team traveled to the 44th annual West Point Debate Tournament this past weekend (Oct 21-23, 2011) to compete against top teams from throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. While all three divisions (Novice, JV, and Varsity) were incredibly competitive, the novice division was particularly so with over 50 novice teams participating. Yet Bard novice policy debaters, Anna Daniszewski and Max Taylor-Milner prevailed, earning an impressive 4-2 record in preliminary debates and ending tied for 9th place in the tournament! Congrats Anna and Max!
